EEEEEkkkkkkk......MAKE UP CONTAMINATION!!!

Sample of contaminated make up(I wish I could use a microscope for this!) This is a cream foundation make up palette, has been in my make up stock room and I have not use it for a couple of months.I had it for a year so there, yeasts, molds and fungi were formed No way...will that come near me! No way....will that come in contact with my skin! No way...will I ever keep that and use it one last time! JUST THAT....NO WAY!!! Have you ever wondered if all the make ups you use are always clean and there's no microbial bacteria present?  You would have to think twice... Why would you risk your skin or your face or even your life to these kind of GONE BAD cosmetics? For goodness sakes, throw them away and buy new ones! But how do make up last? Make ups has chemicals such as parabens that makes it last. They are also referred as "preservatives". Preservatives may be used in cosmetics to protect them against micr

My favorite powder foundation...

Yes....it is my favorite powder foundation! Natural Perfect Coverage Mineral Foundation...  Perfect Coverage Mineral Foundation is formulated with multi-functional rice powder , bamboo powder , and Vitamin E to give medium to high coverage and help seamlessly cover imperfections! It leaves you only with a velvety soft matte finish, perfect complexion, a flawless-looking, shine-free face... and none of the harmful chemical ingredients found in regular foundations! Just the perfect match for your skin you’ve been waiting for! Available in 4 Filipina-friendly shades: Vanilla – Light Honey – Fair Caramel – Medium Toffee – Morena   0.26 oz. (7.5g) I use the tone Honey before because it suits my yellow tone well but I find it a bit dark for me now (due to  my skin's acidity I guess) so I mix Vanilla and Honey together=) True to their claims, it is indeed very comfortable to wear, just use the soft sponge provided in the compact for a matte look or si

Human Nature Make up: Packaging and Pricing

Human Nature products are now available in chosen grocery stores such as Landmark, Rustan's and Shopwise. While some of their skin care and make up line can also be found in Beauty Bar stores. Packaging: The packaging are really cute and they use recyclable and high value plastic. The boxes obviously are made of thick fibered paper and is very nice to touch. I really like the logo of their make up line. Very "environmental"  with colors that would catch everyone's attention--purple! At first it would look like a teen's make up collection, but after you get used to it, it kind of tells you the color look sophisticated and fresh =) Really good for all ages!   But be sure to handle all these with care since they are all pressed (WHICH IS GOOD!) we should make it a point to keep them in soft padded bags or make up kits that has more protection than inside your bag with nothing else but thin leather.I'm cringing now at the thought of acciden

My Growing Human Nature Make up Collection

By the time you read this, I might have all the make ups of Human Nature ! =) Last month,I bought a few make up stuff from Human Nature and I got addicted to their Powder Foundation in Honey. It was really natural on my skin and looks like I'm not wearing at all. The whole day I still have the make up on and since I am a bit oily on my T-zone, I just blotted that part with a tissue. Here's a picture to share with you using their products: Moisturizer as Primer -Moisturizing Day Fluid Face-Powder Foundation in Honey Blusher-Rosy Cheeks Contour-Toffee Highlight-Powder Foundation in Vanilla Eyebrows-Own Eyeliner-Own Mascara-own Eyelids-Eyeshadow for day-Sweet Innocence (I'm not sure if they're still making this) Lip conditioner/balm-Flame Tree Lip color-Coral Kiss Lip gloss-Coral Beach Personally, I would use all their make up because they use only natural ingredients. They are great for everyday since the coverage of the powders are gentle

Make up Brush Cleaners

Here are samples of make up brush cleaners                     From left, PARIAN SPIRIT PROFESSIONAL MAKE UP BRUSH CLEANER,                                                 ELLANA OIL-FREE BRUSH CLEANER                                     HUMAN NATURE ALL NATURAL SPRAY SANITIZER                                             This is a used brush. I want to remove the color of blush and other make up powder that adhered in the bristles of this brush. First, let's spray 2-3 times of the HUMAN NATURE ALL NATURAL SPRAY SANITIZER on a piece of tissue( better to use a paper or kitchen towel). Then in a back and forth motion and gently circling the brush on the tissue....    In the middle, notice that the tissue is wet but you can hardly see the deposit of color from the brush.                                                                      How about this? Ellana worked okay but maybe 5 times of spray should be

Natural Looking Eye Make up

So, I finally found a way to take a better picture! Well, at least for me! Thank heavens for smart phones with cameras that you can rotate so you can take pictures of yourself! Here is a picture of my eye opened with a minimal color of eyeshadow. I used only nude colors like this palette I got from Yves Rocher . It's a mini palette that consists of 3 colors---brown (for the crease), peach(eyelid) and the highlighter which is a bit satin in super light peach. Details at the back in French and English: 11-BEIGE NUDE-MATTE TRI-TONE-Luminous colors , structured look---with smoothing rice powder (wow even in eyeshadows) *this would really look good on those with oily eyelids because of the rice powder which helps eliminate shine. The palette comes out really handy, maybe 2 inches by 1 and a half. For me, it looks good enough for the price and affordable. I got it like around 400pesos .I'm not so sure though. The finish was so light but be sure to put on eye primer or ey

Milcu Magic Puff

Few years ago, I developed this so called "baskil" or basang kili-kili all the time (but I don't smell). I'm not ashamed to admit it but maybe I got this condition due to my crazy hormones back when I was pregnant with my child. But before that I was never been caught with moist underarms. It is so embarrassing when I see my sleeves shirt soiled with wetness.I hated it.But I never really liked wearing deodorants too. I find it more appealing when I don't (weird). Anyway, the main reason is maybe I don't want my scent to be masked with too many "chemicals" or I am just so afraid I might not be able to live without it?!? Maybe?! Some people are like that... Then came Milcu...a semi-solution to my problem! I heard this from my sister-in-law who uses this to her teenage daughter.I tried it after shower! Oh wow it felt great! I mean, it minimized the wetness or sometimes I felt totally dry---the whole day.It is a good product.Without the ma

Wow eyelashes!!!

(My natural lashes applied with MAGIC ILASH ENHANCER) One day, I just realized that I'm getting old and I envy those who have naturally long and thick lashes!!! HMP! Just kidding! But I'm also happy with all those mascaras that thickens and makes lashes look longer...and what if I get tired of doing it? What if I get lazy?!? I curse eyelash extensions done to me twice before and I will never ever do it again... I AM NOT THE PERSON to actually enjoy anything temporarily or permanently applied to my eyelashes! Just to give you an idea, I have very sensitive eyes and since I have allergic rhinitis I tend to rub my eyes a lot.And when I'm sleeping I could feel lashes poking inside my eyes. That's how unkind they are to me.... Then ...I saw this MAGIC ILASH ENHANCER from a very popular site offering a good deal with a very big discount! I ignored the discount because I really wanted to buy it straight from the store.(Just to make sure) The product promise
