Milcu Magic Puff

Few years ago, I developed this so called "baskil" or basang kili-kili all the time (but I don't smell). I'm not ashamed to admit it but maybe I got this condition due to my crazy hormones back when I was pregnant with my child. But before that I was never been caught with moist underarms. It is so embarrassing when I see my sleeves shirt soiled with wetness.I hated it.But I never really liked wearing deodorants too. I find it more appealing when I don't (weird). Anyway, the main reason is maybe I don't want my scent to be masked with too many "chemicals" or I am just so afraid I might not be able to live without it?!? Maybe?! Some people are like that...

Then came Milcu...a semi-solution to my problem! I heard this from my sister-in-law who uses this to her teenage daughter.I tried it after shower! Oh wow it felt great! I mean, it minimized the wetness or sometimes I felt totally dry---the whole day.It is a good product.Without the many chemicals that you see in most deodorants only some crystals turned into powder form.I think it is safe to use.

Price: 89.75 pesos in Landmark
I think this would last you months...

3 years expiration.

Bridal Make up Beauty Transformation

II'm back again! I'm sharing this video and photos with you!  These were taken on  my sister's wedding day! My sister and I had the greatest make up session in our lives! Imagine us, sisters who bonded on the last hours before she says "I do". We just laughed and cried!I will never forget this moment!  I chose not to do a neutral or earth-tone look as I was eyeing a look that's a little both dramatic and ethereal. I asked Jay, my trusted hairstylist and friend to do her beautiful braided hair. Products used: Temptu Airbrush Foundation and Blush   temptu.com Loose Powder Foundation to set:  shuuemura.com Eyebrow gel creme:  macprocosmetics Eyeshadow colors:  viseartparis.com Lipcolor:  stila.com #beautytransformation #bridalmakeup #hairandmakeup   Before (bare faced no make up except eyelash extensions)  After (straight from my phone camera)  And these are photos from the photographer , Ralph Alejandrino. Korean Make up Segment

I was invited by TV Host and Philippine Star Columnist , Angel Rivero for a "Korean" make up segment on the show called "Wheels" a few weeks ago. We talked about how big of an influence Koreans have in us when it comes to beauty and fashion. In the show, I was able to introduce to them my favorite Korean brand , Avant-scène Make up Professional.  It was around 5-7minutes talk with a little bit of acting that we were able to discuss and do a demo of Korean's "no-make-up" make up look.  I will post the whole video here next time. The Philippine Star's Wheels airs every Tuesday nights at 7pm on One News Channel, Channel 8 on Cignal TV cable.  (Reruns are every Wednesdays 10am, Saturdays 2pm and 9pm and Sundays 3:30pm and 11:30pm)

It's been a long time...

Oh my, it's been a long time since I have last posted something about work... and I think it has been a year already to be exact!  Anyway, I won't make any promises but I will really try my very best to post works more often and perhaps share more about what ladies often want to learn more. Even the men can join too.  And to share some more today, I almost gave up being a make up artist! Probably one of the reasons why is because, most people nowadays are becoming more and more of a critic and doesn't know what real art is. I had a lot of experiences, really bad ones, that I almost lost myself but I just prayed to God. Then, it happened...I still get blessings from Him. They just kept pouring in. I couldn't even believe it myself but I always thought God was the one who is telling me to slow down. To enjoy. To do my best.  Now, I'm grateful. This is me, still working and surviving....  after 13 years. Thank you God. I am grateful.
