So, I finally found a way to take a better picture! Well, at least for me! Thank heavens for smart phones with cameras that you can rotate so you can take pictures of yourself! Here is a picture of my eye opened with a minimal color of eyeshadow. I used only nude colors like this palette I got from Yves Rocher. It's a mini palette that consists of 3 colors---brown (for the crease), peach(eyelid) and the highlighter which is a bit satin in super light peach.
11-BEIGE NUDE-MATTE TRI-TONE-Luminous colors , structured look---with smoothing rice powder (wow even in eyeshadows)
*this would really look good on those with oily eyelids because of the rice powder which helps eliminate shine.
The palette comes out really handy, maybe 2 inches by 1 and a half. For me, it looks good enough for the price and affordable. I got it like around 400pesos .I'm not so sure though. The finish was so light but be sure to put on eye primer or eye base for extra hold that would last you whole day. I won't recommend that you dampen your brush.I suggest that you layer =) It's pigmented in a natural sense. I love it because it's light and it looks so natural.
My eyes are deep-set so I think it's quite easy to apply eyeshadow. But the thing you should never forget with having this kind of eye shape is how we shouldnt exaggerate the colors and darken in every way. I like my eyes just the way it is but I want it to pop naturally. So here is what I did:
I got the mid tone color which is the PEACH and brush it into my eyelids blending it towards my crease.Second, I got the darkest shade which is the BROWN and by using a medium crease brush,I applied the color just to my crease concentrating on just the outer crease.BLEND WELL like a car wiper all the way to the inner corner.Lastly, I got a medium eyeshadow brush and swiped the HIGHLIGHTER to my brow bone, to the center of the eyelid and last to highlight would be to the inner corner of my eye near my tear duct.
So here's how it looks like:
Then if you want a natural looking eyebrows, one trick that I've learned is by doing this:
I dip my spooly brush to an eyeshadow color that would match or just the same color as my hair then brush and blend it gently to my eyebrows.
BRUSH and BLEND
I applied the eyeliner and mascara last.
YOU do it!=)
