Almost a year...and with shorter hair!

(Picture shot inside a mall) Hi!  I know it's been almost a year since my last post🙁 Trying to make amends with myself and everything by catching up with the world online. Most of the time I get a lot prodding from my friends who would like to see more of me doing some "awesome" make up tutorials. I hate to admit it but I actually love doing make up videos but I hardly get enough work done when at home. I get too addicted and that's VERY BAD. I need to do some laudry too, you know.  I love my job, I really do. Almost 12 years of working as a make up artist and mostly doing bridal work, I'm not complaining. Maybe that's where I'm really good at.  I think most artists, they love to work in the entertainment business, I did ONCE UPON A TIME. They love the glitz and glamour they get especially since media  and celebrities do get sooo much attention and the artists are somewhat on cloud nine.  I worked with almost every type of people on set, event and photosh

Doll's hair and make up

I like that the toys nowadays are becoming more and more realistic such as this doll ( i'm sorry but I don't know who she is:-( ..)  the make up is absolutely gorgeous! It was like the real thing! Even the lashes looked real! The artists must have been so OC he/she wants it to look detailed. I liked the hair too! So fashion savvy!

Mac fluidline brow gelcreme and Milani stay put color

Obviously you can tell which one is my fave! They both last long but I prefer the creamier type from Mac. Milani is also good and I guess longer lasting because it's a bit stiff and using a mixing medium will probably do the trick (for easier smooth application)----just maybe! I haven't tried! There are already a lot of mixing mediums or sometimes they call themselves "converter" or "thinner" for cream or powder make up. Sometimes make up fixer or setting sprays will also help thin out some cream make up especially for the gel brow cremes in pots but I won't really recommend it on gel eyeliners as they are a bit harsh when applied to lashlines. Be  sure to read the labels or instructions first before applying anything to your face especially to eye areas.   They have a lot of colors but I prefer these colors to my eyebrows. And I also have the "Brunette" from Mac and I use it whenever I color my hair darker than the usual light brown I have or

Another impulse buying...

Not my plan on buying these but I wanted to try the Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner for a long time! The kabuki brush from Koji is amazing!Very soft! The In2it liquid lipcolor is good too...very moisturizing. Overall, I'm satisfied! For the quality, they're inexpensive! BYS Contour Palette and Concealer & Corrector Palette

Yes... a corrector and concealer in one palette and a contour/highlight with natural bronzer in another too! Look at that! Bought this from SM department store but I think Watsons sell them too which only costs 449each! This is an Australian brand which I think will also suit our asian skin tones and types.  ( If you attended my make up workshops, you already know how to use this palette and it really works.) (This is not so pigmented but its fine once you start layering. I'm fair-skinned and in reference to Mac, I'm a NC25 so I guess this is a good choice. The other palette choice has lighter colors.) The palettes are good for personal keeps and maybe used according to your likes. They're not so pigmented especially this contour palette but the correctors may suffice if you're building your own make up kit. For the corrector, with my experience  as make up artist, I need this colors since I deal with different skin tones. I chose this creamy ones because they are easier

Shu Uemura Light Bulb Foundation

Today is November 1 and I have not been able to update this blog for months! (Sorry)I have so many things to share with you and one recently I bought this nice foundation from the store. I wanted a smooth and a medium coverage and when I tried this,I instantly loved it! The foundation refill cost is 2,000php and the case is 600php so total is Php2,600. For the price, I find it a bit expensive but I think I have achieved the "glow" from within and I need not even have to put on a lot of make up to my face. The foundation is not flat and skin definitely breathes which is an important factor for me.With my age, I try not to put too much since I tend to break out it's probably hormonal. Oh... will share with you more make up purchases soon☺️ I'm soo excited! The foundation was the real "star" of this not the case. The case was so-so and didn't have any sticker or label at the back or something. Just a plain case with mirror and a hi-tech sponge. The sponge-y
