Almost a year...and with shorter hair!

(Picture shot inside a mall)

Hi!
I know it's been almost a year since my last post🙁 Trying to make amends with myself and everything by catching up with the world online. Most of the time I get a lot prodding from my friends who would like to see more of me doing some "awesome" make up tutorials. I hate to admit it but I actually love doing make up videos but I hardly get enough work done when at home. I get too addicted and that's VERY BAD. I need to do some laudry too, you know.

I love my job, I really do. Almost 12 years of working as a make up artist and mostly doing bridal work, I'm not complaining. Maybe that's where I'm really good at.

I think most artists, they love to work in the entertainment business, I did ONCE UPON A TIME. They love the glitz and glamour they get especially since media  and celebrities do get sooo much attention and the artists are somewhat on cloud nine.

I worked with almost every type of people on set, event and photoshoots. Everything is a learning experience and you just have to keep your cool and be professional at all times.

Anyway, this is getting too long... and I don't really want to bore you. It's a new journey and a new year and I'm excited to share some cool things to you!

Bridal Make up Beauty Transformation

II'm back again! I'm sharing this video and photos with you!  These were taken on  my sister's wedding day! My sister and I had the greatest make up session in our lives! Imagine us, sisters who bonded on the last hours before she says "I do". We just laughed and cried!I will never forget this moment!  I chose not to do a neutral or earth-tone look as I was eyeing a look that's a little both dramatic and ethereal. I asked Jay, my trusted hairstylist and friend to do her beautiful braided hair. Products used: Temptu Airbrush Foundation and Blush   temptu.com Loose Powder Foundation to set:  shuuemura.com Eyebrow gel creme:  macprocosmetics Eyeshadow colors:  viseartparis.com Lipcolor:  stila.com #beautytransformation #bridalmakeup #hairandmakeup   Before (bare faced no make up except eyelash extensions)  After (straight from my phone camera)  And these are photos from the photographer , Ralph Alejandrino. Muji Cosmetics

My first Muji purchase was years ago.... I'm not so sure.I bought their beautiful pink blusher and neutral eyeshadow before which came out really nice and natural. Now, I want to share with you my recent purchase from the same store, here are the pictures.  Make up Base-25ml Make up foundation-25ml Eyecolor palette-2.2g Creamy liquid concealer-6.6g  Powder foundation-9.8g  Loose powder in pearl natural-18g White foundation case I love MUJI, it's from Japan and their products are gentle on my skin. They are affordable too and the packaging resembles to that of a well-known and expensive Japanese brand, not all though. It's good that they are including UV protection too which is really important for me.  This is the eyeshadow palette and it's very handy. I love its case because it's transparent you can see the colors instantly. The pigmentation is quite good as I've said looks natural maybe sheer. Better layer the colors for intense effect. I also suggest that you ...

It's been a long time...

Oh my, it's been a long time since I have last posted something about work... and I think it has been a year already to be exact!  Anyway, I won't make any promises but I will really try my very best to post works more often and perhaps share more about what ladies often want to learn more. Even the men can join too.  And to share some more today, I almost gave up being a make up artist! Probably one of the reasons why is because, most people nowadays are becoming more and more of a critic and doesn't know what real art is. I had a lot of experiences, really bad ones, that I almost lost myself but I just prayed to God. Then, it happened...I still get blessings from Him. They just kept pouring in. I couldn't even believe it myself but I always thought God was the one who is telling me to slow down. To enjoy. To do my best.  Now, I'm grateful. This is me, still working and surviving....  after 13 years. Thank you God. I am grateful.
