The 3rd Philippine Wedding Industry Ball

The Phillipinne Wedding Association of Planners recently held a memorable event for all the Filipino suppliers at Dusit Thani Manila on November 4,2014. All the suppliers, including I,  as make up artist were there to experience a formal gala wearing only modern designs of Filipino wear. Since I was not so prepared and it was my last minute decision to join, I just borrowed a simple black gown made for my petite height and frame. So I just made my make up look ultra-glam and flawless and had my hair down to one side to frame my face.  So, here is my look: I enhanced my face by using only browns, greys and blacks for my eyes for a smoky effect. I blended everything making sure there were no harsh lines. And to make my eyes pop, I wore natural but long uneven strands of false strip lashes and finished it off with a wiggle of black mascara. How about my eyebrows? I made it actually heavier or a little dramatic by giving it a squared effect on the area where it sits on top of the n...

Have you been to a spooky halloween party? If you have, what was your costume like? Did you have a mask? Here are some looks that I have tried on myself without really buying anything just some facepaint and simple clothes or maybe a cape or apron.  Do I look scary?  Here are some shots with Bella the "warrior"  from twilight  and dracula,

Photo and video shoot with Mario Wong

A few months ago, I collaborated a shoot with Photographer/Videographer Mario Wong to update some of my works as an artist. Here are some of the pictures. They were taken with different lighting which is good since you get to experiment with lights and shadows.  Model Niña for Bridal Model Virgie for Avant Garde Model Riz for Glamour Model Arianne for Natural

Flat Out Fabulous by MAC

I love this color! And yes it is matte! Again, I'm not fond of lipcolors but if it means making me look decent when attending events I guess this is the one!:) I have cool undertone and have slightly stained teeth so this color looks good on me :-) It is a bright fuschia color with no bleeding and glides on smoothly when yoh apply a bit of lip balm on your dry lips. Best to exfoliate lips too for better results:)

Eyebrow Kit by Jazzy Collections (James Cooper)

Jazzy Eyebrow Kit -399.00Php This is probably one of the interesting make ups I've discovered this rainy season and it is smudgeproof! (And I think waterproof!) I was window shopping at Podium Mall Ortigas and went inside Watsons. This James Cooper stall caught my eye and saw some beautiful lipcolors. Then my eyes wandered some more and  landed on this kit.  For me, I think this liquid eyebrow make up is a bit tricky to use  and not really for those who are impatient to achieve flawless eyebrows. A little goes a long way and as soon as you squirt some of it,you have to apply at once.  There are three colors of this and I got the lightest one since I always color my hair 2 shades lighter. If you squirt too much of the product you can't put it back and there is no way to do that. So you should be able to press it lightly for the product to come out then add some more if needed.  With two brushes. The thinner one for drawing then the other for filling in. Actually, ...

The LUSH Lip Tint

I have a confession to make----I don't like wearing lipsticks or lipcolors. I just do because my profession calls me for it. I just don't like the feeling of something on my lips.  As I was window shopping for soaps and other skin care, I came across this fabulous lip tint from Lush!  I tried it, at first I didn't like it because it's sort of sweet...hehe but I bought it anyway. It felt natural like it has less chemicals like using natural oils and other natural ingredients. Sorry I forgot to check it from the back packaging. Honestly, this product did not last on me not because I hated it.I just don't like the feel of washing  or sanitizing my fingers (a must) all the time and dipping one of it to slather on my lips.I don't like keeping a lipbrush on my purse. I always like lipcolor to appear like stain and this did the job on me. I gave it away mainly because it's tedious for me to sanitize my finger just to apply it. I'd rather do it from the tube. I ...

A graffiti on face???!

Inspiration here was a trooper giving himself a camouflage kick by means of black make up.Originally they use charcoal or heavy black grease etc.and covering their whole face so they can hide from their enemies!  I guess they would have gone into innovation too like make up with protection from heat and explosives .So here is my take on the army make up but still glam!:)
