Make up and Hair Up Style Trainings

Basic Make up :   October -December 2005 Basic Hair Up Style :    February-March 2006  Intermediate Make up Artistry: Hi-Definition Make up:      January 2010 (ICI was already called CAS) Prior to my big interest with make up, I clearly remembered at a very young age of 12, I was part of the Theater Club and I was assigned to play the role of "Jesus". I knew how to act but I thought at that time, what can I do to make myself look more like "Jesus"? So I got my mom's eyeliner pencil and some dark ,bright red lip colors and a "plastic balloon". I had to act like I was being crowned with thorns so I needed blood I made it out of the toy plastic balloon and the bold lip colors and made lots of beard and mustache. I drew from scratch imitating the hairs to my upper lip area and chin.I drew more blood. Just like that I got hooked. That was my very first on-the-spot special effects make up. Then it was in high school that I really started pay...

Airbrush Make up Training and a visit to other schools...

I started airbrushing when I first got my airbrush make up system last 2007. I saw the need for it since a lot of clients were interested and requested.I decided to study on my own first then later on took the Hi-Definition Make up Course at CAS( Center for Aesthetic Studies) which was very helpful prior to Airbrush Make up.Then came the opportunity and allotted time to studying professionally and I chose Singapore since it's near our country. I chose The School of Make Up in Singapore  for my One-on-One Hands-on Airbrush Make up Workshop led by Sally Yeo.We airbrushed the foundation, eyes, eyebrows, blusher etc. We also had hair effects. Everything was done with airbrush.I was hooked  as I was enjoying every make up done on every part of the face and the make up stayed for hours on my model. We used the water based  airbrush make up. The country Singapore has almost the same weather as ours but sometimes a bit cooler with wind even under the sun. The air is very cle...

Bride Marvic

Photo by Paul Vincent grabbed from Instagram The beautiful Au (L) and Dang (R) I met Marvic thru my former clients Au and Dang who got married 2009 and 2010 respectively. Since she is from Austria we only conversed thru emails. We didn't have the trial hair and make up anymore .I only met her once and that was on the day of her wedding. Make up Look Her make up was done by airbrush ---airbrushing the foundation, eyes, eyebrows and blusher. Then polished with a little bit of traditional application. Hairstyle She liked her hair to have volume on top but soft with waves. Then for the reception, her request is to let it loose but half up and half down.

Bride Wendy

On Wendy's wedding was the first day I met her. I met Wendy thru her sister who I only met thru exchange of texts and emails. Actually their youngest sister was my very first client from their family. I'm very pleased to meet them because they're extraordinary beautiful people. Make up Look I chose fresh colors for her olive tone and enhanced her beautiful eyes. Hairstyle She wanted her hair up for the church ceremony since she perspires easily especially her head. But she requested her hairstyle on the reception for loose curls.

Bride Claire

Photo credits to follow Photo credits to follow I met bride Claire thru a former bride only this year. I get to meet a lot of people from weddings and when they learned that I was the one who did the make up of the brides and other members of the entourage, they ask me a lot of questions and so they become my clients too. Make up Look  She chose to have traditional make up for her garden wedding. She has perfect skin. She booked me without any trial so I did my best in creating a natural for her just accentuating her features. For me, her best feature were her eyebrows. I never did anything to change it. I just want her to look natural. The color palette was fresh veering away from smoky or dark colors. Hairstyle Again, it would be best to have the hair in a traditional updo in a garden wedding. It is the safest and most practical way to do due to the main reason--- the weather here is humid so people tend to perspire a lot.But again, it depends on the clien...

Some simple and not so grand hair accessories

This is just one of my hobbies, bringing pieces of craft together then turning it into something really cool according to my clients. I use  different materials and just work my imagination. I base everything on client's theme, clothing or colors to be used etc.
