Airbrush Make up Training and a visit to other schools...

I started airbrushing when I first got my airbrush make up system last 2007. I saw the need for it since a lot of clients were interested and requested.I decided to study on my own first then later on took the Hi-Definition Make up Course at CAS( Center for Aesthetic Studies) which was very helpful prior to Airbrush Make up.Then came the opportunity and allotted time to studying professionally and I chose Singapore since it's near our country.
I chose The School of Make Up in Singapore  for my One-on-One Hands-on Airbrush Make up Workshop led by Sally Yeo.We airbrushed the foundation, eyes, eyebrows, blusher etc. We also had hair effects. Everything was done with airbrush.I was hooked  as I was enjoying every make up done on every part of the face and the make up stayed for hours on my model. We used the water based  airbrush make up.
The country Singapore has almost the same weather as ours but sometimes a bit cooler with wind even under the sun. The air is very clean too due to more visible trees. The Philippines has rains and  gets cooler during the first months of the year but when it's summer it gets really humid. So in airbrush make up, a good training should be tested with the same climate as these two tropical countries. And I think as a make up artist, we have an advantage over other countries with regard to making the make up more waterproof, sweatproof and smudgeproof. We are more prepared. For me it is how you do the technique that matters but we also need to consider the skin's adaptability to the airbrush make up whether water-based or silicone-based make up. We do the studying as a professional.

Cosmoprof Academy is at the top of my list but they don't accept One-on-one Workshops.
I am thinking of going back to this school for other trainings.I hope I have enough time though. They have 1-2 weeks of training for certificate courses.

I visited Make up For Ever Academy Pro Loft but the instructor who I spoke to before was no longer there. Her name is Liza Haron and I heard she's good. I have to check the other instructors.

Bridal Make up Beauty Transformation

II'm back again! I'm sharing this video and photos with you!  These were taken on  my sister's wedding day! My sister and I had the greatest make up session in our lives! Imagine us, sisters who bonded on the last hours before she says "I do". We just laughed and cried!I will never forget this moment!  I chose not to do a neutral or earth-tone look as I was eyeing a look that's a little both dramatic and ethereal. I asked Jay, my trusted hairstylist and friend to do her beautiful braided hair. Products used: Temptu Airbrush Foundation and Blush   temptu.com Loose Powder Foundation to set:  shuuemura.com Eyebrow gel creme:  macprocosmetics Eyeshadow colors:  viseartparis.com Lipcolor:  stila.com #beautytransformation #bridalmakeup #hairandmakeup   Before (bare faced no make up except eyelash extensions)  After (straight from my phone camera)  And these are photos from the photographer , Ralph Alejandrino. It's been a long time...

Oh my, it's been a long time since I have last posted something about work... and I think it has been a year already to be exact!  Anyway, I won't make any promises but I will really try my very best to post works more often and perhaps share more about what ladies often want to learn more. Even the men can join too.  And to share some more today, I almost gave up being a make up artist! Probably one of the reasons why is because, most people nowadays are becoming more and more of a critic and doesn't know what real art is. I had a lot of experiences, really bad ones, that I almost lost myself but I just prayed to God. Then, it happened...I still get blessings from Him. They just kept pouring in. I couldn't even believe it myself but I always thought God was the one who is telling me to slow down. To enjoy. To do my best.  Now, I'm grateful. This is me, still working and surviving....  after 13 years. Thank you God. I am grateful.

New packaging! New formulation?

This is again an update of the pressed powder I'm using! I just couldn't believe why I switched from a luxurious brand I was using before into this! I mean, it's nothing negative as this is still an Asian brand as it says "Made in Thailand" . This is actually good. The pressed powder is medium coverage for me like a foundation and I like that it covers my imperfections without using any concealer. Even my dark undereyes were magically covered!  I will post the before and after pics soon😊 Anyway, the new packaging is very handy and cute with a mirror inside! However, the scent is kind of "off" for me.I can't quite place it. The old version doesn't have that smell and is actually quite "unscented" (I have to do the  sniffing again once more just to be sure). I tried the powder again this time and I think it's just like before! My face looks flawless and blends into my skin after a few minutes! It's just the smell that's bothe...
