Muji Cosmetics

My first Muji purchase was years ago.... I'm not so sure.I bought their beautiful pink blusher and neutral eyeshadow before which came out really nice and natural. Now, I want to share with you my recent purchase from the same store, here are the pictures.

Make up Base-25ml
Make up foundation-25ml
Eyecolor palette-2.2g
Creamy liquid concealer-6.6g
Powder foundation-9.8g
Loose powder in pearl natural-18g
White foundation case

I love MUJI, it's from Japan and their products are gentle on my skin. They are affordable too and the packaging resembles to that of a well-known and expensive Japanese brand, not all though. It's good that they are including UV protection too which is really important for me.
This is the eyeshadow palette and it's very handy. I love its case because it's transparent you can see the colors instantly. The pigmentation is quite good as I've said looks natural maybe sheer. Better layer the colors for intense effect. I also suggest that you use an eyeshadow primer but if you're not too keen on it, the foundation on your eyes as primer or base will suffice.
Here are the silky eyeshadow powders. The colors are beautiful right?
The no-fuss or shall I say simple and generic looking case for this powder foundation? Of course, I love it! I like it clean! I like white! The case again resembles to a Japanese brand (but without the label) and it is a sturdy plastic.
This is my new favorite foundation. I bought the Light Beige and I think it is the lightest color available. The next one was my exact color but since I'm acidic (with skin that eats make up or when applied with make up oxidizes overtime), I chose this over the other. I only apply lightly on my face and instantly brightens my skin.Best applied with their special sponge.

This is probably the most affordable Japanese concealer brand I've ever owned.I got the lightest due to my dark undereyes.I only saw two colors at Muji. Some say I should get a peach or salmon colored tone but I prefer this one---not really yellow but it has a hint of orange or peach.I like it because it does'nt settle on my lines.
This is an outdoor shot of the concealer.(Sorry my hands are really dry and ugly)
Outdoor shots of the loose pearl powder.
This is also one of my favorites, a pearl powder that can be used alone. When applied with a MAC 187 or flat top foundation brush, my skin looked so heavenly.

As for the make up base and liquid foundation, they look really natural when applied with fingers. The make up base is like a tinted moisturizer with spf28 while the foundation comes out sheer to medium coverage with spf36.

My purchase total was 4,675pesos only or a little more than 100dollars which I paid reasonably for the Japanese products. With its great quality and practical use, I will definitely go back for more.

Things to ponder:

They have limited choices of colors especially with their foundations--they are mostly light--good for fair to medium skinned.

Better test their products before purchasing. If you have a deep skin   tone, better focus on their lipliners, eye pencils--- anything that is in darker shades some of their colors will be better as highlighters:-)

Please do consider buying make up brands that are made from Japan since they are also known for producing skin care that delivers great results, I figured  they use essential oils and natural ingredients to their make up products.

Yes, I only had few hours of sleep...as you can see my eyes are kind of tired.
With MUJI base, foundation, concealer and eyeshadow.

New powder foundation discovery!

I have been searching for my new powder foundation as Kate Tokyo discontinued my fave😞(see the black case) Sorry for the ugly dirty case as it was stuck inside my drawer for a long time.Anyway, a friend told me about SilkyGirl make up! She told me it's really making her look flawless! Which I think it is! I bought my own powder foundation at Robinson's Galleria and oh,wow, my friend was right! I don't even need to use concealer. I know some people prefer to use liquid but I tend to use matte powder foundation because it gives me that polish and clean look.  I chose the cute Magic BB Oil-Control Pure Fresh Powder All-In-One because I don't have to use any concealer.  Comes in a small cute plastic case that fits perfectly in my palm. It has SPF 45 which says:  Shine-free Matte finish Long wearing Fragrance-free Formulated for Asia Skin I got the number  01- Fair because of the yellowish and light tone. Will post pics when my skin adjusted to my natural color... I'm s

Temptu Airbrush Make up

This make up was done a few years ago with the use of airbrush liquids specifally this brand Temptu. Check them out at  https://temptu.com/ .  I've started doing airbrush 2007 when I thought there was a need for it. I was looking for alternatives on make up brands that would actually mimic a flawless skin. My first machine and airbrush set is OCC or Obssessive Compulsive Cosmetics still from the US but I just heard the business closed down this year though.Too bad the make up was good.  Here in this look, I created a high-definition effect using all Temptu liquids. Mixing everything from eyeshadows to bronzers. The eyeliner and  lipsticks were manually done with make up brushes though as they tend to be very precise and detailed. The eyebrows were stenciled but blended well. The lashes were also attached after all the make up were done.

Bridal Make up Beauty Transformation

II'm back again! I'm sharing this video and photos with you!  These were taken on  my sister's wedding day! My sister and I had the greatest make up session in our lives! Imagine us, sisters who bonded on the last hours before she says "I do". We just laughed and cried!I will never forget this moment!  I chose not to do a neutral or earth-tone look as I was eyeing a look that's a little both dramatic and ethereal. I asked Jay, my trusted hairstylist and friend to do her beautiful braided hair.
