My gel manicure and pedicure experience...

Last Wednesday was actually my third gel nails experience. I had my first one in one of the poshest nail salon almost two years ago. I said to myself that I will never ever indulge myself again into gel polish but I was wrong! I love the fact that gel polish are more bonded to your nails , if done correctly and with the use of really quality ones. I had my first experience at Dashing Diva and I love it! It cost me pricey for both manicure and pedicure. They cleaned the nails well and cured each layer by UV nail dryer. And yeah it was really awesome each time I looked at my nails they were still intact and shiny. If not for the cracked polish after about...hmmm...if I remember it right...3 weeks?! Wow!

Then the second time was on my birthday month. I had the urge of doing my own French tip but I gave up since I wanted the white lines to be even.... so I headed to a nail salon. Too bad, the nail salon I went to which offered a big discount for my birthday month failed to perfect my nails. The day after, I already saw a chipped polish! My experience with them was a bit inexpensive so I guess the poor quality came with the price .

Then this time I was in search for a good nail salon and spotted "Nail it!". It was not so perfectly classy but the place was clean and simple in the color scheme of white, lavenders and lilacs.I love the fact that I sat on a big relaxing couch with plenty of pillows ang updated fashion magazines. Then I asked  them to have my nails in French tips because I wanted them to look clean and simple. No fuss over colored ones. I just needed this.I guess I'm just into nude ones.

Here are my nails after ...

Day two...

Yeah I know... my feet are overworked and they looked dry and old:-( I'm never really into feet scrubs and lotions hehe..

And day three, today...

Still intact and beautiful with all the washing and other household chores. This salon used Orly gel nail polish on me and two well-trained staff attended to my nails and needs. My manicure and pedicure cost me about  1,450php plus tips. I guess I'm happy with the service and of course the outcome. Will I come back? Yes of course! I love the fact that when I come back for another session , the polish removal will be free of charge which I heard some salons charges clients separately.I really think they did a great job with my nails and they were fast and efficient:)

***Note: This is not a paid advertisement or even a freebie which I was asked to write about.I simply love to share with you my experiences.

Bridal Make up Beauty Transformation

II'm back again! I'm sharing this video and photos with you!  These were taken on  my sister's wedding day! My sister and I had the greatest make up session in our lives! Imagine us, sisters who bonded on the last hours before she says "I do". We just laughed and cried!I will never forget this moment!  I chose not to do a neutral or earth-tone look as I was eyeing a look that's a little both dramatic and ethereal. I asked Jay, my trusted hairstylist and friend to do her beautiful braided hair. Products used: Temptu Airbrush Foundation and Blush   temptu.com Loose Powder Foundation to set:  shuuemura.com Eyebrow gel creme:  macprocosmetics Eyeshadow colors:  viseartparis.com Lipcolor:  stila.com #beautytransformation #bridalmakeup #hairandmakeup   Before (bare faced no make up except eyelash extensions)  After (straight from my phone camera)  And these are photos from the photographer , Ralph Alejandrino. It's been a long time...

Oh my, it's been a long time since I have last posted something about work... and I think it has been a year already to be exact!  Anyway, I won't make any promises but I will really try my very best to post works more often and perhaps share more about what ladies often want to learn more. Even the men can join too.  And to share some more today, I almost gave up being a make up artist! Probably one of the reasons why is because, most people nowadays are becoming more and more of a critic and doesn't know what real art is. I had a lot of experiences, really bad ones, that I almost lost myself but I just prayed to God. Then, it happened...I still get blessings from Him. They just kept pouring in. I couldn't even believe it myself but I always thought God was the one who is telling me to slow down. To enjoy. To do my best.  Now, I'm grateful. This is me, still working and surviving....  after 13 years. Thank you God. I am grateful.

New packaging! New formulation?

This is again an update of the pressed powder I'm using! I just couldn't believe why I switched from a luxurious brand I was using before into this! I mean, it's nothing negative as this is still an Asian brand as it says "Made in Thailand" . This is actually good. The pressed powder is medium coverage for me like a foundation and I like that it covers my imperfections without using any concealer. Even my dark undereyes were magically covered!  I will post the before and after pics soon😊 Anyway, the new packaging is very handy and cute with a mirror inside! However, the scent is kind of "off" for me.I can't quite place it. The old version doesn't have that smell and is actually quite "unscented" (I have to do the  sniffing again once more just to be sure). I tried the powder again this time and I think it's just like before! My face looks flawless and blends into my skin after a few minutes! It's just the smell that's bothe...
