Why do we airbrush?



We airbrush our make up nowadays...we airbrush because it feels lighter on our skin and faster to use than regular make up. And pictures are more vivid and sharper due to hi-technology, pores are seen--- naturally. Evey pore.Every mole.Every scar.So what do we do?Of course, if we want to appear as flawless as possible,we cover them but without letting our gadgets see what is really underneath.Even our cellular phones can detect that flaw. We turn everything into an art but a form that no one else can see but you.It's our secret. And the secret lies to the artist that controls the airbrush.


Sorry for the funny face! But this is the skin after it has been airbrushed! By the way, I applied a little concealer under my eyes and I just saw it just now that a part of it was not properly concealed=( Oh well...I hope it aint too obvious....haha...

Still, you can see the freckles but slightly covered.You don't really cover them! They should appear naturally=) Even the deep scars... they don't really disappear but if you do, have another layer of that airbrush foundation! Or cover that spot dramatically until you are happy with the results.
Having flawless skin by using airbrush is a really big thing but we don't want to appear as if we have brushed a mask on our face. Colors should match altogether just like regular make up. Every pore will be covered with airbrush at the same time it must look natural.




I have done this to my eye many times...I have airbrushed my eyebrows using stencils. In this picture, I created smoky eyes.I used matte brown, gold shimmer, white shimmer and copper shimmer with a little of matte black for contour.All in airbrush liquid forms that comes in small bottles.I never used dry eyeshadow powders in this picture.I applied mascara last.


But of course! I cannot airbrush the eyeliner due to difficulty and I was afraid it might hurt my eye . I cannot control my peeking so I just used a normal liquid eyeliner with a very fine tip.


I think it looked good. I didn't even use a brush to blend it.I only used the airbrush gun for blending.Controlling it with a very low pressure.

It's been a long time...

 Oh my, it's been a long time since I have last posted something about work... and I think it has been a year already to be exact!  Anyway, I won't make any promises but I will really try my very best to post works more often and perhaps share more about what ladies often want to learn more. Even the men can join too.  And to share some more today, I almost gave up being a make up artist! Probably one of the reasons why is because, most people nowadays are becoming more and more of a critic and doesn't know what real art is. I had a lot of experiences, really bad ones, that I almost lost myself but I just prayed to God. Then, it happened...I still get blessings from Him. They just kept pouring in. I couldn't even believe it myself but I always thought God was the one who is telling me to slow down. To enjoy. To do my best.  Now, I'm grateful.This is me, still working and surviving....  after 13 years. Thank you God. I am grateful.

The LUSH Lip Tint

I have a confession to make----I don't like wearing lipsticks or lipcolors. I just do because my profession calls me for it. I just don't like the feeling of something on my lips.  As I was window shopping for soaps and other skin care, I came across this fabulous lip tint from Lush!  I tried it, at first I didn't like it because it's sort of sweet...hehe but I bought it anyway. It felt natural like it has less chemicals like using natural oils and other natural ingredients. Sorry I forgot to check it from the back packaging. Honestly, this product did not last on me not because I hated it.I just don't like the feel of washing  or sanitizing my fingers (a must) all the time and dipping one of it to slather on my lips.I don't like keeping a lipbrush on my purse. I always like lipcolor to appear like stain and this did the job on me. I gave it away mainly because it's tedious for me to sanitize my finger just to apply it. I'd rather do it from the tube. I ...
