My First Rock 'n' Roll Hair Accessories

Recently, I did a bride with a Rock and Roll Wedding Theme. Theirs was a very fun party and since they were a part of a band, the Bride played the drums and the groom sang songs at the reception. I suggested for simple hair accessories for her wedding which will make her stand out but I didn't  want to give her a look that would make her too "rock 'n' roll" instead I opted for fresh but defined make up look=) She chose to have her hair down in soft curls since theirs was a garden ceremony.

The picture above was her hair accessory for the reception.

This was the hair accessory that she used at the wedding ceremony.I just thought a simple and not so big hair accessory will be enough for a non-traditional wedding theme. This just added a little "vibe" on her wedding look. When she wore it, I think she looked perfect! Not over the top but just "rocking-ly elegant" ! =)

Bridal Make up Beauty Transformation

II'm back again! I'm sharing this video and photos with you!  These were taken on  my sister's wedding day! My sister and I had the greatest make up session in our lives! Imagine us, sisters who bonded on the last hours before she says "I do". We just laughed and cried!I will never forget this moment!  I chose not to do a neutral or earth-tone look as I was eyeing a look that's a little both dramatic and ethereal. I asked Jay, my trusted hairstylist and friend to do her beautiful braided hair. Products used: Temptu Airbrush Foundation and Blush   temptu.com Loose Powder Foundation to set:  shuuemura.com Eyebrow gel creme:  macprocosmetics Eyeshadow colors:  viseartparis.com Lipcolor:  stila.com #beautytransformation #bridalmakeup #hairandmakeup   Before (bare faced no make up except eyelash extensions)  After (straight from my phone camera)  And these are photos from the photographer , Ralph Alejandrino. Lo...

It's been a long time...

Oh my, it's been a long time since I have last posted something about work... and I think it has been a year already to be exact!  Anyway, I won't make any promises but I will really try my very best to post works more often and perhaps share more about what ladies often want to learn more. Even the men can join too.  And to share some more today, I almost gave up being a make up artist! Probably one of the reasons why is because, most people nowadays are becoming more and more of a critic and doesn't know what real art is. I had a lot of experiences, really bad ones, that I almost lost myself but I just prayed to God. Then, it happened...I still get blessings from Him. They just kept pouring in. I couldn't even believe it myself but I always thought God was the one who is telling me to slow down. To enjoy. To do my best.  Now, I'm grateful. This is me, still working and surviving....  after 13 years. Thank you God. I am grateful.

New packaging! New formulation?

This is again an update of the pressed powder I'm using! I just couldn't believe why I switched from a luxurious brand I was using before into this! I mean, it's nothing negative as this is still an Asian brand as it says "Made in Thailand" . This is actually good. The pressed powder is medium coverage for me like a foundation and I like that it covers my imperfections without using any concealer. Even my dark undereyes were magically covered!  I will post the before and after pics soon😊 Anyway, the new packaging is very handy and cute with a mirror inside! However, the scent is kind of "off" for me.I can't quite place it. The old version doesn't have that smell and is actually quite "unscented" (I have to do the  sniffing again once more just to be sure). I tried the powder again this time and I think it's just like before! My face looks flawless and blends into my skin after a few minutes! It's just the smell that's bothe...
