A few things to remember...

If you find yourself debating whether you will be bring a make up artist to retouch your make up (or your hair) the whole day or just have a DIY retouch on yourself for a photo shoot so you could save on fees or add-ons, here are a few things to remember.

If  you are shooting some photos especially some outdoor photos, you may have to bring a kit containing the following:

Compact mirror
Blotting papers-to remove excess shine before anything else!
Pressed powder with powder puff or sponge-after removing excess shine
Lipstick or lip gloss with color
Hair comb
Facial tissue and small face towel- wipe off any perspiration from your face with a facial tissue but be sure to just pat areas on face (not swiping motions). Small towel for neck and back.

If you are extremely oily, make up does not guarantee it will last for hours. An airbrush application of make up will make it last but normally when you are under a cool environment or air-conditioning with moderate light set-up.Otherwise, you need to have yourself retouched a few times to remove shine. This is when the make up artist should always be present especially on your big day never mind that you have to spend extra...just a thought though...=) You will never have to worry about your shiny shimmering splendid face!

New powder foundation discovery!

I have been searching for my new powder foundation as Kate Tokyo discontinued my fave😞(see the black case) Sorry for the ugly dirty case as it was stuck inside my drawer for a long time.Anyway, a friend told me about SilkyGirl make up! She told me it's really making her look flawless! Which I think it is! I bought my own powder foundation at Robinson's Galleria and oh,wow, my friend was right! I don't even need to use concealer. I know some people prefer to use liquid but I tend to use matte powder foundation because it gives me that polish and clean look.  I chose the cute Magic BB Oil-Control Pure Fresh Powder All-In-One because I don't have to use any concealer.  Comes in a small cute plastic case that fits perfectly in my palm. It has SPF 45 which says:  Shine-free Matte finish Long wearing Fragrance-free Formulated for Asia Skin I got the number  01- Fair because of the yellowish and light tone. Will post pics when my skin adjusted to my natural color... I'm s

Temptu Airbrush Make up

This make up was done a few years ago with the use of airbrush liquids specifally this brand Temptu. Check them out at  https://temptu.com/ .  I've started doing airbrush 2007 when I thought there was a need for it. I was looking for alternatives on make up brands that would actually mimic a flawless skin. My first machine and airbrush set is OCC or Obssessive Compulsive Cosmetics still from the US but I just heard the business closed down this year though.Too bad the make up was good.  Here in this look, I created a high-definition effect using all Temptu liquids. Mixing everything from eyeshadows to bronzers. The eyeliner and  lipsticks were manually done with make up brushes though as they tend to be very precise and detailed. The eyebrows were stenciled but blended well. The lashes were also attached after all the make up were done.

Bridal Make up Beauty Transformation

II'm back again! I'm sharing this video and photos with you!  These were taken on  my sister's wedding day! My sister and I had the greatest make up session in our lives! Imagine us, sisters who bonded on the last hours before she says "I do". We just laughed and cried!I will never forget this moment!  I chose not to do a neutral or earth-tone look as I was eyeing a look that's a little both dramatic and ethereal. I asked Jay, my trusted hairstylist and friend to do her beautiful braided hair. Products used: Temptu Airbrush Foundation and Blush   temptu.com Loose Powder Foundation to set:  shuuemura.com Eyebrow gel creme:  macprocosmetics Eyeshadow colors:  viseartparis.com Lipcolor:  stila.com #beautytransformation #bridalmakeup #hairandmakeup   Before (bare faced no make up except eyelash extensions)  After (straight from my phone camera)  And these are photos from the photographer , Ralph Alejandrino.
