This is again an update of the pressed powder I'm using! I just couldn't believe why I switched from a luxurious brand I was using before into this! I mean, it's nothing negative as this is still an Asian brand as it says "Made in Thailand" . This is actually good. The pressed powder is medium coverage for me like a foundation and I like that it covers my imperfections without using any concealer. Even my dark undereyes were magically covered!  I will post the before and after pics soon😊 Anyway, the new packaging is very handy and cute with a mirror inside! However, the scent is kind of "off" for me.I can't quite place it. The old version doesn't have that smell and is actually quite "unscented" (I have to do the  sniffing again once more just to be sure). I tried the powder again this time and I think it's just like before! My face looks flawless and blends into my skin after a few minutes! It's just the smell that's bothe

I was invited by TV Host and Philippine Star Columnist , Angel Rivero for a "Korean" make up segment on the show called "Wheels" a few weeks ago. We talked about how big of an influence Koreans have in us when it comes to beauty and fashion. In the show, I was able to introduce to them my favorite Korean brand , Avant-scène Make up Professional.  It was around 5-7minutes talk with a little bit of acting that we were able to discuss and do a demo of Korean's "no-make-up" make up look.  I will post the whole video here next time. I have been searching for my new powder foundation as Kate Tokyo discontinued my fave😞(see the black case) Sorry for the ugly dirty case as it was stuck inside my drawer for a long time.Anyway, a friend told me about SilkyGirl make up! She told me it's really making her look flawless! Which I think it is! I bought my own powder foundation at Robinson's Galleria and oh,wow, my friend was right! I don't even need to use concealer. I know some people prefer to use liquid but I tend to use matte powder foundation because it gives me that polish and clean look.  I chose the cute Magic BB Oil-Control Pure Fresh Powder All-In-One because I don't have to use any concealer.  Comes in a small cute plastic case that fits perfectly in my palm. It has SPF 45 which says:  Shine-free Matte finish Long wearing Fragrance-free Formulated for Asia Skin I got the number  01- Fair because of the yellowish and light tone. This make up was done a few years ago with the use of airbrush liquids specifally this brand Temptu. Check them out at  https://temptu.com/ .  I've started doing airbrush 2007 when I thought there was a need for it. I was looking for alternatives on make up brands that would actually mimic a flawless skin. My first machine and airbrush set is OCC or Obssessive Compulsive Cosmetics still from the US but I just heard the business closed down this year though.Too bad the make up was good.  Here in this look, I created a high-definition effect using all Temptu liquids. Mixing everything from eyeshadows to bronzers. The eyeliner and  lipsticks were manually done with make up brushes though as they tend to be very precise and detailed. The eyebrows were stenciled but blended well. The lashes were also attached after all the make up were done. 

 Oh my, it's been a long time since I have last posted something about work... and I think it has been a year already to be exact!  Anyway, I won't make any promises but I will really try my very best to post works more often and perhaps share more about what ladies often want to learn more. Even the men can join too.  And to share some more today, I almost gave up being a make up artist! Probably one of the reasons why is because, most people nowadays are becoming more and more of a critic and doesn't know what real art is. I had a lot of experiences, really bad ones, that I almost lost myself but I just prayed to God. Then, it happened...I still get blessings from Him. They just kept pouring in. I couldn't even believe it myself but I always thought God was the one who is telling me to slow down. To enjoy. To do my best.  Now, I'm grateful.This is me, still working and surviving....  after 13 years. Thank you God. I am grateful.
